At Valley Energy, we believe in fueling more than just homes. We’re here to fuel our community. That’s why our next Grillz event on Friday, July 5th, will support a cause close to our hearts: HeroHomes, a local nonprofit that provides housing and hope for our nation’s disabled veterans.

Join us from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 103 Hirst Road in Purcellville for a propane refill and help make a real difference. For just $9.99, you can refill your standard grill tank and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing a portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to HeroHomes.

Can I exchange my Grill tank at Grillz?

Yes! Grill tanks can be exchanged for an additional cost at any Grillz date or at any time during business hours at the Valley Energy office located at 117 N. Bailey Lane, Purcellville VA 20132.

What To Do If Your Propane Tank Is Expired?

Once those 12 years are up, you can either exchange the tank with Valley Energy for a replacement, or have it inspected for requalification for an additional five years of use.

Where Is The Propane Tank Expiration Date?

A propane tank’s expiration date can be found stamped on its collar in a month-year format, such as 06-21 for June 2021. To determine when your tank expires, simply add twelve years to the stamped date.

How To Read The Date On a Propane Tank?

The manufacture date will be stamped on the propane tank’s collar. It will be in month-year format. If your tank was built in September of 2023, it would read as “09-23.” You will also find a unique identification number on the collar as well.
