About Special Olympics Virginia – Loudoun County
We’re proud to partner with Special Olympics Virginia – Loudoun County (SOVA Loudoun) for this event.
Who They Are
Special Olympics is a movement built on inclusion, where every person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. In Loudoun County, the program provides year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with disabilities.
What They Do
Through sports, athletes discover new strengths and abilities, building confidence and joy both on and off the playing field. SOVA Loudoun athletes inspire their communities to see a wider world of human talents and potential. Programs include weekly practices, seasonal competitions across Northern Virginia, and exciting state-level events that cap off each season.
Who They Serve
- Ages 8 and up – Athletes enjoy sports year-round with opportunities ranging from skill building to competitive teams.
- Young Athletes (ages 2–7) – A special program to introduce children to the fun of sports in an inclusive, supportive environment.
By supporting Grillz, you’re directly helping these athletes continue to grow, compete, and shine.
