Fueling Summer Fun & Supporting the Humane Society of Loudoun County at Grillz – June 21st
LP Grillz Event on June 21: Fueling Summer Fun & Supporting the Humane Society of Loudoun County
At Valley Energy, we believe in more than just fueling homes and grills—we believe in fueling good in our community. As a family-owned company rooted in Purcellville, the people we serve aren’t just customers—they’re our neighbors.
That’s why we created Grillz, a propane refill event series designed to save you money and support local nonprofits doing amazing work right here in Loudoun County.
Join us for our next LP Grillz Event on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 8 AM to 12 PM, at 103 Hirst Road in Purcellville—benefiting the Humane Society of Loudoun County (HSLC)!
🐾 Support HSLC—A Lifesaving Local Rescue
Since 1966, the Humane Society of Loudoun County has been dedicated to saving the lives of animals through adoption, foster programs, rescue efforts, and humane education. As a foster-based nonprofit, HSLC doesn’t operate a physical shelter—instead, they rely entirely on volunteers in the community to open their homes to animals in need.
Their programs include:
- Adoption & Foster Placement
- Low-Cost Spay/Neuter
- Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for community cats
- Humane education and outreach
- A pet pantry to keep families and pets together
But here’s the challenge: In 2025, HSLC hasn’t been able to take in a single new dog due to a heartbreaking shortage of foster homes.
Be a Hero—Fosters Needed Now
Fostering is one of the most powerful ways you can help. Whether it’s for a few days or a few months, fostering gives rescue animals the time, care, and love they need to transition from their past into a future full of promise.
Why foster?
- It helps animals decompress and recover
- It increases their chance of being adopted
- It provides love and stability while they wait for a forever home
- It saves lives—literally
And fostering is flexible! You can choose from:
- Regular fostering
- Short-term or vacation fostering
- Emergency or special needs fostering
HSLC covers all medical expenses and provides you with support every step of the way. Ready to learn more? Visit humaneloudoun.org/foster or email foster@humaneloudoun.org.
What Are LP Grillz Events?
Grillz is more than just a propane refill. It’s a bi-weekly community gathering that brings people together over a shared love of grilling—and giving back. Every Tuesday and every other Saturday, you can visit 103 Hirst Road and refill your standard grill tank for just $9.99.
Each event benefits a local nonprofit that’s making a real impact. It’s an easy, meaningful way to support the causes that matter most.
How You Can Help
- Refill & Give Back: Refill your tank and know your dollars are going to a great cause.
- Spread the Word: Share this event with your neighbors, friends, and family.

Fueling More Than Just Tanks
